The Executive Director and lead dental surgeon of Sunny Smiles Dental Centre in East Legon, Dr Gameli Nordor, has been honored as the Most Respected CEO in the Ghanaian Dental Industry.
The prestigious accolade was presented to him at the recently concluded 6th Ghana Industry CEO Awards hosted by the Business Executive at the Marriott International Hotel in Accra.
With over a decade of managing a dental practice, Dr Nordor expressed gratitude for the recognition of his integrity and selfless service.

Upon receiving the award, he thanked his dedicated team and partners, acknowledging their crucial role in the success of Sunny Smiles Dental Centre.
“It is a great honor to be recognized in this way. I founded Sunny Smiles Dental Center 10 years ago with the main aim of delivering personalized, attentive, and excellent dental care to my patients,” Dr Nordor said.
He attributed the award to the hard work and dedication of his team, including nurses, hygienists, specialist doctors, and the trust placed in them by patients.
Dr Nordor highlighted the pivotal role of technology and innovation in the dental field, emphasizing the adoption of up-to-date technology in providing dental care.
“For the past 2 years, we have been pioneering the use of new digital technology in our dental practice to improve patient outcomes,” he stated.
The use of digital innovations, such as the iTero Element 5D Intraoral imaging system, has enhanced precision, speed, and comfort, enriching the overall patient experience.
Encouraging fellow dental practitioners in Ghana, Dr Nordor urged them to leverage AI and digital diagnostics to advance the industry further.
