
The newly-elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for Offinso North, Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, has called on all NPP supporters to shift their focus to the upcoming December general elections after the just-ended primaries.
Dr. Asamoah appealed to fellow contestants to set aside any differences that may have arisen during the election and concentrate on uniting all members for a cohesive campaign leading to victory in the upcoming election.
This call for unity and shared purpose was emphasized in a media address following his victory over the incumbent Member of Parliament for Offinso North, Mr. Augustine Collins Ntim.
Expressing the need for unity, Dr. Asamoah stated, “Now that the primaries are over, what we need is unity of purpose, sharing of ideas, and strategizing on how to communicate the best election message to the Ghanaian populace, ensuring they retain the party to continue with its good policies.”
Dr. Asamoah commended the party members for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the recent primaries, highlighting it as evidence of unity within the party. He encouraged members to maintain this focus as they move forward.

Dr. Asamoah thanked the Offinso North constituency delegates for the honor bestowed upon him and the trust placed in him to represent them in the upcoming general election.
He pledged to bring together all party members, especially those who contested the primaries, and engage them actively during the forthcoming campaign.
Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah secured victory in the primaries with 378 votes, surpassing the incumbent, Augustine Collins Ntim, who garnered 231 votes, and Rockson Kwaku Adu Boahen, who recorded one vote.
This marks Dr. Asamoah’s first time contesting in the NPP primaries in the Offinso North constituency.
