The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has invited all key presidential aspirants to a high-level meeting to discuss critical issues ahead of the party’s forthcoming Presidential Elections. The invitation, contained in an official letter dated November 9, 2025, and signed by the Secretary of the Presidential Elections Committee, William Yamoah.
In the letter, the Presidential Elections Committee expressed its “warm compliments” to the aspirants and formally summoned them for deliberations on what it described as “matters of great importance relating to the forthcoming Presidential Elections.”
According to the correspondence, the meeting is scheduled to take place on:

Venue: NPP National Headquarters, Asylum Down, Accra
The Committee said the engagement is to furnish the aspirants with “the most recent updates on the electoral process,” while also providing a platform for them to share their concerns, suggestions, and inputs into the organisation of the contest.
The Presidential Elections Committee emphasised that the presence of the aspirants is vital to the integrity and success of the party’s internal election. It noted:
“Your valued insights and contributions at this meeting will be instrumental to the smooth conduct and overall success of the impending elections.”
The Committee further conveyed its “deep appreciation for your continued cooperation and commitment to upholding the Party’s democratic principles,” underscoring its desire for a transparent, peaceful, and credible electoral process.
Those Invited
The distribution list indicates that the invitation was extended to five leading figures, namely Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
Copies of the letter were also sent to the Acting National Chairman, the General Secretary, all National Executives, and the Chairman of the National Council of Elders, signaling the importance of the meeting at the highest levels of the party.
