Traditional medicine which has always played a major role in our integral health delivery system is now being painfully replaced by a kind of both scientifically and technologically based theories and practices.
The reason might be that being widely accepted and spreading out as the standard for medical health, we dare not displease it.
The advent of technological health in terms of equipment, research and trail based theories has caused many to wonder and question…why is it still not solving our basic health challenges?
This has triggered many to sort out for other treatment options like Traditional Medicine Acupuncture. In recent decades, TCM Acupuncture is gaining widespread recognition and acceptance across the globe.
Accepting acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body.
Undoubtedly, some governments and insurance companies are beginning to accept and recognise Acupuncture in the main health stream smoothly alongside its orthodox counterpart.
For instance, it’s being used in dealing with their health challenges in areas like cardiovascular diseases, prevalence of chronic, orthopaedic, metabolic disorders, gynecological conditions, cancer among others.
Traditional medicine practice like Acupuncture has generated a number of points called ‘Acupoints’ and formulae effective enough in dealing with the aforementioned health challenges.
Indeed, research does suggest that Acupuncture can have benefits for certain conditions and that many patients find it even more effective for conditions beyond those supported by research.
As an ancient medicine based approach, Acupuncture involves inserting tiny needles at some specific points on the skin.
The method
This method, if done, by a professional is able to trigger specific nerve points, stimulating both nerves and immune system to promote circulation around and to the area diseased through a series of channels called in TCM as meridians.
Consequently, this heals wounds, eases stress, enhances sleep, boosts immune system, controls bloody stools and improves metabolism.
TCM Acupuncture pays close attention to the whole body. It constitutes and manages functional disorders as well as sub health conditions that remain largely undetected with medical examination.
In short, as a practitioner of TCM’s Acupuncture, I can say to all readers that orthodox medicine challenges, limitations and horrible side effects as well as growing new diseases, have left room for traditional medicine to play its special role in natural medicine.
It is worth a try because they’re being simple, drug free, cost effective with no side effects treatment. TCM’s Acupuncture is truly Chinese by birth, Huang Di Nei Jing, by creed and the world by breed!
