A Board member of the Tree Crop Development Authority (TCDA) and founder of the Nana-Bawumia Movement (NABA), Paul Amaning, has made a donation of GHC200, 000 worth of party t-shirts, customized aprons and other items to support campaign activities of the New Patriotic Party in the Eastern Region.
The presentation was made at the Eastern Regional Residency over the weekend.
The items were received on behalf of the Regional Chairman by the Regional Second Vice Chairman, Twum Barima, the Regional Secretary, Jeff Konadu Addo, the Regional Nasara Coordinator, and the Regional Research and Elections Officer.
A call to duty
Presenting the items, Mr Amaning explained that resourcing the party is a call to duty, adding that it is even more important to do so in an election year like this.
He added that it has become evident that the progress of this country has had its foundation on the New Patriotic Party, for which reason resourcing the party is a necessity for national development.
The items donated include 16,000 pieces of dresses for women, 1300 pieces of branded t-shirts and aprons for Kade constituency and other orphan constituencies in the region.
The First Vice Chairman expressed the party’s profound gratitude to Mr Amaning for constantly contributing his quota to the growth of the party. He also took the opportunity to call on other well-meaning party members to assist in resourcing the party ahead of the 2020 general elections.
