Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the NPP, has been intensifying his nationwide campaign tour of various constituencies to sell his message to the electorate ahead of this year’s general elections scheduled for December 7.
At the Adentan constituency where he recently visited, he held “Meet-and-Greet” sessions from Ashaley Botwe New Town Junction to Nmaidzorn School Junction to interact with traders, drivers and their passengers as well as passers-by.
He also engaged in a meeting with the clergy and traditional leaders at the Victory Presby Church, and later held a Community Connect event at the Adentan Lorry Station.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted the achievements of the NPP administration in the last eight years, and spoke about his vision for the nation as captured in the NPP manifesto for this year’s elections.
Kozie all the way
Dr. Bawumia also rallied more support for the party’s parliamentary candidate for the area, Akosua Asaa Manu, who is also called Kozie, saying: “Kozie has demonstrated a lot of commitment to serving the Adentan constituency, and that is what has begun to show in the developmental projects she has secured into the constituency.”
Dr. Bawumia asked the people of Adentan to vote massively for Kozie, saying she had started serving the constituency even before being voted as the MP, citing the Container Road as an example of what Kozie can do when voted for as the MP.
“Kozie really cares, and that, if you vote for Bawumia, vote for Kozie, and if you vote for Kozie, vote for Bawumia,” he added.
