George Krobea Asante, the Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended a significant gesture of support to the party’s communicators in the Nkawkaw and Abirem constituencies.
On October 13, 2024, Krobea donated twelve brand new mobile phones and an undisclosed sum of money at separate events held at the Nkawkaw party office and the Afosu durbar grounds, aimed at empowering the communicators ahead of the December general elections.
This initiative, according to Krobea, is part of his personal efforts to ensure that NPP communicators are well-equipped to continue spreading the government’s achievements and promoting the party’s Presidential and Parliamentary candidates. He emphasized that this support would enhance their ability to reach more voters and articulate the NPP’s message effectively.
During the donation, Krobea also presented an additional mobile phone to the leader of the Volunteers group in Abirem constituency, recognizing her outstanding commitment and dedication to the party’s campaign.
Krobea’s generosity towards the Abirem constituency is not new. Two months ago, he provided financial support to the constituency’s communicators, including serial callers, and pledged to give monthly stipends until the elections in December.
“It is my hope that this kind gesture will motivate the beneficiaries to work even harder for the party as we strive to break the 8,” Krobea remarked, referring to the NPP’s bid to secure a third consecutive electoral victory.
The Communications Officers for both Nkawkaw and Abirem constituencies, speaking on behalf of their teams, expressed their deep appreciation for Krobea’s support. They vowed to continue their dedicated efforts in spreading the party’s message, highlighting the government’s accomplishments and promoting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s Bold Solutions manifesto in the lead-up to the elections.
