The Managing Director (MD) of the Ghana Supply Company Limited (GSCL), Abraham Binapadam Jawol, has filed his nomination forms to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the Saboba constituency, ahead of the upcoming 2024 general election.
Filing the nomination forms at the party’s constituency office, he lauded the rank and file of the party in the Saboba constituency for making the processes simple and understandable for every candidate.
Dr. Jawol urged the executives to cast their ballots wisely with free and fair minds, devoid of monetary influence and inducement. He called for unity among the party faithful and advised the executive to evaluate the capabilities of the candidates before casting their vote.
Right decision
Additionally, he called on the party executives not to impose any candidate on the delegates, but rather allow them to elect their desired candidate. He called on the executives not to be moved by their interests rather than the interest of the constituents.
He expressed appreciation to the Council of Elders of the party, constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, and the polling station executives and called on them to crown him just as in the last election.
Dr. Jawol assured the supporters that he will mobilise the needed support to energise the grassroots to work hard to achieve its aims and objectives.
He further reiterated his readiness and commitment to lead the party to recapture the seat from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament to represent the people in the constituency when voted to lead the party in 2024.
