The Helper’s Arena of the Keeper’s House Chapel, Spintex Branch, has registered about 450 people unto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as an act charity as part of the church’s 3rd anniversary celebration.
Additionally, most people living in and around Community 16, Tema, had their Covid-19 vaccinations and opportunity for checking their blood pressure.
Assorted food stuffs were also distributed to some widows and the aged in the community.
The branch pastor of the Church, Rev Ebenezer Hamilton, in an address to the media, said the gesture was the Church’s way of supporting the community beyond spiritual activities.
He was hopeful that, in future, the Church would be able do more to support the community. He urged the people to be each other’s keeper by showing love to their neighbours, and thanked God for His grace and bringing the Church this far.
