The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), together with private incubation and acceleration company, Bizline Incubation Hub, has launched a six-month Acceleration Programme in the Savannah Region to give entrepreneurs of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) the opportunity to pitch their businesses for both technical and financial support.
The prgramme is part of NEIP Hubs Acceleration Grant Programme under the Ghana Economic Transformation Project (GETP), sponsored by the World Bank.
Bizline Consult announced that the programme is designed to improve the growth of SME’s through a combination of mentorship, workshops and networking events, help entrepreneurs achieve significant milestone and accelerate businesses to success.

The Consult explained that the programme will pair entrepreneurs with experienced industry mentors who will provide guidance, expertise, and support throughout the programme. “They will help you refine your business strategy, tackle challenges, and make informed decisions,” it explained.
It will also offer a series of workshops and training sessions led by industry experts. These workshops cover various aspects of business development, such as marketing, finance, operations, and scaling strategies.
“Additionally, it will offer networking opportunities by connecting entrepreneurs with fellow entrepreneurs, industry leaders and potential investors. This will be achieved through networking events and also help build strong relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, opening doors to new opportunities, which are crucial for expanding businesses,” Bizline assured.
The Bizline Consult stressed that financial support is the major challenge of SMEs and as part of the acceleration programme, its Incubation Hub will provide access to a network of investors who are actively looking for promising startups to invest in.
Participants of the programme will also have access to modern co-working space, equipped with all the amenities necessary to support their business operations, collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs and leverage the vibrant community spirit.
Eligibility
The Consult explained that it is seeking ambitious and innovative SMEs across various industries, adding that “whether you are a technology startup, a sustainable business, or a social enterprise, we welcome applications from all sectors”.
“To be eligible, applicants must be in operation for at least one year, and must operate within the Savannah Region. Applicants must demonstrate market traction or a minimum viable product (MVP) and must have strong potential for growth and scalability.
“Applicants must have a dedicated and passionate team and be willing to actively participate and commit to the programme. More importantly, women entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply,” it noted.

The application process include a pitch deck that outlines business model, market opportunity, and any other relevant details.
The consult will shortlist a select number of SMEs for the next phase, which may involve interviews and presentations, after which successful applicants will be notified and invited to join the acceleration programme.
Bizline Consult noted that the deadline for submitting application is July 31, 2023.
