The Tepamanhene, Nana Atwenewaa Ampem II, has described the running mate of the governing New Patriotic Party as a “true son of the land”.
He said this during Dr. Prempeh’s visit to his palace at Tepa, as part of his tour of the Ahafo Ano North constituency yesterday.
Nana Atwenewaa Ampem II highlighted the enduring relationship between his family and Dr. Prempeh’s, underscoring the mutual respect and collaboration that had characterized their interactions over the years.
The paramount chief acknowledged Dr. Prempeh’s significant contributions to the region, attributing many of the municipality’s recent developments to his intervention and support. .

NAPO used the opportunity to engage with stakeholders in the constituency at the Tepamanhene’s palace. The gathering included chiefs, members of the Local Council of Churches, the Council of Imams, the Apagyafie Stool Lands, among others.
NAPO and his team also visited Tepa Senior High School, where he inspected a library being constructed by the MP for the area. He discussed the Free SHS policy, highlighting its benefits, including the increase in enrollment.
The MP expressed support for his would-b successor, Nana Agyemang Prempeh, praising his humility and intelligence, in line with the NPP’s teachings.
At the rally, Dr. Opoku Prempeh urged the crowd to endorse Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by voting for the NPP in the next elections. He also endorsed his brother, Nana Agyemang Prempeh, as the best candidate to lead the constituency in the journey ahead.
