Members of Team Ken, the support group for former Assin Central MP and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, have paid a special Father’s Day visit to the Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah.
The delegation, led by key figures within the campaign structure, visited the popular clergyman at his church premises in Accra on Sunday, June 15, 2025, to express their appreciation and spiritual solidarity with him on the occasion of Father’s Day.
Spokesperson for Hon. Ken Agyapong, Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng Frimpong, delivered warm greetings on behalf of the team. He describer Apostle Owusu Bempah as a father figure whose spiritual guidance continues to inspire and strengthen many within the political and faith communities.
“Today is a day set aside to honour fathers and father figures, and as Team Ken, we have come here, backed by our faith, to recognize and appreciate a man of God we deeply believe in—Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah. This is not a political gesture but a spiritual one. We are here because we know the Apostle carries grace and has consistently spoken truth to power. We wish him a blessed Father’s Day,” Mr. Kwarteng Frimpong stated.

Also speaking during the visit was Chairman Akwasi Poku, NPP Chairman for the Tema West Constituency, who lauded Apostle Owusu Bempah’s impact on the nation and the party. According to him, the Apostle remains an invaluable spiritual leader whose prayers and counsel have shaped national discourse and steered the New Patriotic Party through turbulent political seasons.
“We are here today on this special day not just to celebrate you as a father but also to seek peace and reconciliation,” Chairman Poku remarked. “If there is anything the NPP or any of us may have done that hurt you, knowingly or unknowingly, we ask for forgiveness. We plead that you continue to intercede for the party, the leadership, and our beloved country, Ghana,” he added.
The delegation acknowledged the important role religious leaders play in shaping the conscience of the nation, especially during critical moments of national decision-making.
Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah, known for his prophetic declarations and close association with the political elite, received the team warmly and offered prayers for peace, unity, and divine wisdom for Ghana’s leaders. He expressed his appreciation for the visit and urged all political actors to pursue humility, forgiveness, and Godly counsel as they navigate the complex terrain of politics.
