The national president of Patriotic Health Team, Douglas Kwesi Boateng, has stated that the group is ready to hit the grounds for a health campaign for the governing party ahead of the December polls.
He said the aim of the group is to help NPP members and Ghanaians maintain good health conditions even in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
He has also given the assurance that the group will work professionally, and advised members who seek to use the campaign period for personal gains to change their minds.
Mr Boateng was speaking during the first conference organised by the Eastern Regional chapter of the group over the weekend. The conference was held under the theme “Protecting our Progress: The Role of Patriotic Health Team.”

“We are going to push the party’s agenda to the people and let them know what this current government has done for them. In doing so, we will also be involved in community health cleaning, walks, sharing of nose masks and frequent health education to keep our community safe and sound,” he said.
Patriotic Health Team is a group of health volunteers who have come together to spread the good works of the NPP and to also help in community health development.
