The life of every individual on earth is important. Besides, in aspects of human history, few are those whose lives leave a lasting imprint on the hearts of many. Rebecca Naa Ayeley Quarshie was one such individual—an exceptional kind whose memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
A dedicated former employee of the Ghana Industrial Holdings Corporation (GIHOC), Rebecca Naa Ayeley Quarshie served with passion in various capacities at GIHOC Pharmacy and GIHOC Metals.
Work ethics
Her work ethics were an indication of her commitment, and she became known for her diligence, reliability, and firm integrity.
Rebecca’s professional life was marked by a unique blend of competence and compassion. She approached her work as a job and as a calling. This she did in a way to make a difference in the lives of others. Her colleagues often remarked on her ability to brighten the day with a kind word or a warm smile, even in the most trying of times. It was this blend of professionalism and humanity that set her apart in every role she undertook.
Hope and kindness
Beyond the workplace, Rebecca was a symbol of hope and kindness within her community. Her faith played a central role in her life, guiding her actions and interactions. As a devoted member of the Apostolic Church of Ghana, Koforidua Effiduase served God diligently and touched many lives through her ministry. Her passion for God’s work was evident in the way she lived. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a word of encouragement, or simply be a listening ear.
Love and compassion
She embodied the teachings of Christ, demonstrating love and compassion in every aspect of her life. Rebecca’s caring nature extended beyond her church and workplace to her family and friends. She was the pillar of strength, the voice of reason, and the embodiment of love in the lives of those closest to her.
Place of refuge
Her home was a place of refuge, where everyone felt welcomed, loved, and appreciated. Her life was proof of the power of kindness and the enduring impact of a generous spirit.
It is important that, as we prepare to bid her farewell on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Prisons Park, Effiduase, Koforidua, we remember the life she lived, the love she gave and the lives she touched.
Rebecca Naa Ayeley Quarshie was truly an exceptional kind, and her legacy of love, passion, and faith will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
It is certainly well.
