The Vice-President and NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has ramped up his engagement strategy by conducting a house-to-house campaign during his tour of the Northeast Region ahead of the 2024 elections.
Since commencing his regional tour, Dr. Bawumia has been actively connecting with various segments of the population, including market women, taxi drivers and individuals from diverse backgrounds on the streets. Now, he’s delving deeper into the grassroots with a focused effort on direct household interactions.
Despite the unfavourable weather, residents of Walewale yesterday showed unwavering support as they braved the rain to welcome Dr. Bawumia. Undeterred by the downpour, the Vice-President walked through the main streets, symbolizing his commitment to reaching every corner of the region.
Making several stopovers on his journey to Nalerigu, Dr. Bawumia engaged with households and community leaders in various villages.
This approach mirrors his previous visits to other regions, where he surprised locals with impromptu visits to their homes and businesses.
Dr. Bawumia’s hands-on and humble approach has garnered praise from Ghanaians, who appreciate his efforts to connect directly with voters and convey his vision and policies.
He has reaffirmed that by taking his campaign to the doorstep of the people, he is demonstrating a deep respect for the local electorate and their concerns.
