The Disability Not Inability (DNI) Foundation has been honoured with an Award of Excellence in Charity by The Servants of Charity (Opera Don Guanella) and the Department of Special Education, University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
The award recognizes DNI’s unwavering devotion to the cause of humanity and the well-being of persons with special needs and the vulnerable in society.
The award was presented during the Guanella Africa Summit and Public Lecture on Rehabilitation and Inclusive Basic Education, held under the theme “Taming The Wilderness Of Hope: Mainstreaming Inclusive Basic Education Perspectives in the African Development Agenda” at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Speaking during the award ceremony, the Founder and Executive Director of DNI Foundation, Ms. Esther Tibila, extended her profound gratitude to the hosts for organizing such a remarkable summit and for extending an invitation to them.
She thanked the Board of Trustees, especially the Chairman, Professor Peter Atadja, for sponsoring the delegates’ trip to Nigeria and the dedicated team at DNI Foundation for their tireless efforts and commitment to the organization’s vision.
