The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maxwell Investments Group, Dr. Maxwell Ampong, has called on small and medium enterprises to embrace digitalization in their operations to align with the contemporary business landscape.
He made the call during the SME capacity-building seminar, themed “Empowering Growth: Optimizing People and Resources for the Digital Era,” organized by GCB Bank PLC on July 23, 2024.
Dr. Maxwell emphasised the indispensability of digital tools for modern businesses, stating that SMEs must adapt to the digital age or face the risk of obsolescence.
He also lauded Development Bank for its efforts in promoting financial literacy by translating programs into local dialects, thereby enabling broader access to financial education across the country.
Moreover, Dr. Maxwell encouraged the media to play an active role in engaging stakeholders and disseminating financial literacy widely.
