“Growing in Ghana when I was in Adisadel College, around 2014, I used to throw shot-put and discus for my school, so I have always had the Ghanaian dream at heart. I am looking forward to a day where I will have the chance to represent Ghana at the Olympic level,” he said.

“Strongman and powerlifting sports has come to stay… Let’s face it, the powerlifting and strongman sports though new to the Ghanaian terrain has come to stay. We must embrace it just like every other sport, like football, athletics and boxing,” he added.
He said powerlifting has a very great potential in Ghana, adding “we must invest in the sport by putting all hands on deck to lift the image of this sport”.
