A parliamentary candidate hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency, Mr Festus Bumakama Agyapong, has demonstrated the spirit of giving by supporting over 800 NPP delegates in the region with a generous donation.
The benevolent act involved the distribution of bags of rice and mackerel to the delegates, aimed at bringing joy and smiles during the Christmas festivities. Not stopping there, he also extended the generosity to include persons living with disabilities and the elderly, ensuring that they too could feel the warmth of the season and be an integral part of the community’s celebrations of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Mr Bumakama Agyapong took the opportunity to encourage the people of Sefwi Wiawso and all Ghanaians to maintain their trust in the NPP government. He urged continuous support for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and his appointees, calling for collective prayers as the year 2023 draws to a close.
As a proponent of unity and goodwill, Mr Bumakama Agyapong emphasized the importance of living in peace and showing care for one another as the nation steps into the new year of 2024.
Looking ahead to the upcoming presidential elections in 2024, he expressed confidence in Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the NPP’s presidential candidate. Highlighting Dr. Bawumia’s instrumental role in Ghana’s global recognition through digitization policies and initiatives, he called upon Ghanaians to entrust him with the leadership of the country in the upcoming elections.
The parliamentary hopeful concluded with a strong conviction that Sefwi Wiawso constituency and the entire Western North region would resoundingly vote for the NPP’s presidential candidate come the December 2024 general elections.
This festive act of generosity and the accompanying words of encouragement set a positive tone as the community prepares to usher in the new year.
