
On Point Property Management Ltd., on Friday, December 15, 2023 launched the Ghana Property and Lifestyle Expo 2023 at the Residence of the British High Commissioner, Mrs Harriet Thompson.
The GPLE is an annual event held in the UK (and organised by On Point Property Management Ltd.) that brings together real estate professionals, developers, investors, real estate enthusiast and individuals who are interested in exploring opportunities in the sector.
Appreciation
In a brief welcome address to attendees of the programme, the Deputy British High Commissioner, Keith McMahon, thanked the residence team management, strategic partners, and the diaspora relations team for their efforts in organizing the event.
Mr McMahon emphasized the significance of the Expo, highlighting its role in fostering growth in the real estate and property development sector and other vital industries.
The Deputy British Commissioner also encouraged attendees to enjoy the programme, forge partnerships, and most importantly, network.
He extended his thanks to everyone for contributing to the success of the event, adding a touch of glamour to the occasion.
Privilege
For his part, Director of the Diaspora Affairs Office at the Office of the President, Mr. Akwasi Awuah Ababio, acknowledged the privilege of being part of the Expo.
Expressing excitement, he praised stakeholders for alleviating some of the burdens of his role as Diaspora Affairs Director. He also took the audience through the recent launch of the Diaspora Engagement Affairs Policy. For instance, he emphasized its role in establishing mutually beneficial relationships with diaspora populations worldwide.
Highlighting the broader scope of diaspora support, Mr Ababio emphasised its significance beyond remittances, focusing on the exchange of knowledge, skills, and innovation for long-term investment and sustainable development.
The Expo
The Expo, traditionally held in London and Atlanta in previous years, makes its debut in Ghana this year under the theme “Investing in Ghana Safely.”
The two-day event, is being hosted at Alisa Hotel in Accra today December 16 and tomorrow December 17. It will feature exhibitions, panel discussions with industry experts, and interactive Q&A sessions.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore Ghana’s property market, investment prospects, and lifestyle offerings during this immersive experience.
