
The Ghana Black Stars absolutely dominated Chad in their 2026 World Cup qualifier match, winning 5-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium. This decisive victory propelled Ghana to the top of Group I with 12 points, putting them in a strong position for qualification.
The Black Stars were on fire from the start, with Antoine Semenyo scoring in just the second minute. Inaki Williams doubled the score in the 32nd minute, and Jordan Ayew made it 3-0 just before halftime. Mohammed Salisu and Ernest Nuamah sealed the deal with two more goals in the second half.
Ghana’s next match is against Madagascar on Monday, and a win would solidify their position at the top of Group I. With this convincing victory over Chad, the Black Stars are looking strong and focused on their path to the 2026 World Cup.
