John Boadu deserves apology for galamsey tag
Sincerely, I think John Boadu (JB) deserves an apology from persons who tagged him with Galamsey especially, those within New Patriotic Party (NPP).
I have extensively read the alleged Prof Frimpong Boateng Report and monitored other commentaries nowhere have I heard John Boadu’s involvement in illegal mining.
Granted, without admitting the authenticity of the report and having my own reservations about certain paragraphs of the report, I have not sighted the involvement of John Boadu in galamsey activities in the report.
It is unfortunate how John Boadu, a former General Secretary of the NPP was continuously dragged by his own people for allegedly involving or conspiring with galamseyers without any proof and piece of evidence.
Till today, no one has been able to show a single proof of JB involving in galamsey or any concession owned by John Boadu yet he was recklessly accused of engaging in illegal mining.
Because of his love and loyalty to the party, he kept mute over these unfounded allegations and paid dearly for his quietness during the delegate conference. But today, we all know the truth that, at least, John Boadu was never involved in galamsey.
Vindication, is indeed, in the womb of time
