Yesterday’s bodyguard, today’s 1st Vice Chairman. Indeed, God lifts in His own time.
There is a young man called Kojo Bamba.
Years ago, you would always see him behind Nana Bee – quiet, loyal, watchful. He was the bodyguard. When Nana Bee was moving, Bamba was clearing the way. When Nana Bee was talking, Bamba was standing.
Many people saw only the bodyguard. But God saw a leader in waiting.
Bamba served faithfully. He didn’t rush. He didn’t complain. He did his small job with a big heart.
Today, the story has changed.
The same Bamba who used to hold the door for Nana Bee has been elected 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP. And by party structure, the 1st Vice Chairman is now the boss of the 2nd and 3rd Vice Chairman, Nana Bee and Nana Akomea respectively.
The bodyguard has become the boss.
The follower has become the leader.
The one who used to stand behind is now the one who leads in front.
That is God.
He humbles, He lifts, He elevates in His own time. When it is your time, no protocol can stop it.
Moral: Serve well where you are. God is watching. Your loyalty today is preparing you for leadership tomorrow.*
