
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Nsawam has extended heartfelt appreciation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for nominating Mr. Owusu Arthur Emmanuel as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region.
The nomination comes as a replacement for the outgoing MCE, Mr. Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng, and has received overwhelming support from the constituents, particularly NPP members who view Mr. Owusu Arthur Emmanuel as a humble and hardworking individual.
In an acceptance statement issued by the party, and signed by the constituency secretary, Frank Aboagye, the NPP expressed gratitude for the President’s discerning decision to appoint Mr. Owusu Arthur Emmanuel to this crucial position.
According to the statement, Mr. Owusu Arthur’s selection reflects the President’s commitment to excellence, leadership and a vision for a government driven by the best talents.
The statement also highlighted the appointee’s wealth of experience, expertise and a proven track record of success in management, development, governance, and winning elections.
The NPP executives expressed confidence in Mr. Arthur Emmanuel’s leadership qualities, innovative thinking, and dedication to public service, “aligning seamlessly with the values upheld by the party”.
The party acknowledged its past collaboration with Mr. Arthur Emmanuel in various capacities. The constituency and polling station executives expressed confidence in his ability to work tirelessly towards achieving the party’s agenda of “breaking the eight (8)”.
The statement reaffirmed a shared commitment to building a legacy of impactful governance for the benefit of the Ghanaian people.
