He also congratulated Ghana for hosting the African Continental Free Trade Area.
President Akufo-Addo, for his part, welcomed the envoys and assured them of a fruitful stay in Ghana.
He commended the Korean government and its agencies for offering immense support during the pandemic.
“So, to have this hand of friendship being extended to us, especially during this crisis, is something we really treasure,” President Akufo-Addo said.
He said a lot of Ghanaians look to Korea as a model for development for Ghana.
“We very much look at the Korean model as something we can also achieve,” the President said.
He again said he was particularly happy that, last year, Ghana was able to assist in the release of some Korean nationals who were kidnapped by pirates.
