The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC), Prof. Eric Opoku Mensah, has charged newly admitted students to embrace a spirit of curiosity and creativity in their fields of study.
He gave the charge during the University’s 2nd Matriculation Ceremony at the South Legon campus.
Prof. Opoku Mensah emphasised the pivotal role of curiosity in driving intellectual exploration and discovery. He urged students to cultivate a mindset of creativity, harnessing their innovative potential to address complex challenges and shape the future of media, arts, and communication.
The acting V-C also highlighted the transformative power of collaboration and networking, urging students to leverage their diverse perspectives and talents within the UniMAC community to drive positive societal change.
Prof. Opoku Mensah urged the fresh students to seek support, collaborate, and strive to effect positive change in society. He assured the students that the university is dedicated to nurturing intellectual growth, and fostering innovation.
He further expressed gratitude to all participants for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. He reaffirmed UniMAC’s commitment to academic excellence, student experience, and success, pledging to continue creating an environment where students can thrive and realize their fullest potential.
