Appreciation

Nana Anokye I also donated an undisclosed amount of money to help the TESCON executives. He pledged a scholarship scheme to help the poor and needy students at the University of Ghana this year.
He promised to team up with the TESCON executives to mobilise both human and material resources to develop their leadership.
The Nkosuohene asked them not to be deterred by criticisms from those they would serve, but remain focused on the task of building TESCON and the party.
He entreated members of TESCON to come together with the old to execute the party’s ‘2024 agenda for victory’.
He particularly wants them to learn from the experiences of the elderly and the party’s leadership to utilise their abundant energy to propel the party to victory.
Bridging gap
According to him, the youth need to stay united with the old, and learn from them to enable the party to consolidate the gains it made into the next elections and beyond.
“As a matter of urgency, I urge you to come together and learn from the elderly to execute the 2024 agenda for victory. It is crucial that, as a youth, you learn from experiences of the elderly and the leadership to provide resources to utilise the abundant energy to propel the party to victory,” he said.
He indicated that honouring invitations from TESCON, particularly, was borne out of his passion to share experiences with the youth for the sake of the party’s progress as well as prepare them since they hold the key to the party’s future.
Unity
He emphasised the need for unity within the party as it is reorganising its structures with various levels of elections going on.
“It is extremely important we reconcile and embrace unity within the party after the elections. Discipline within the party should be our watchword. All members should do all they can to appeal to feuding parties to reconcile. As an example of a youth group that has consistently demonstrated commitment to the party, members should educate the youth in the party to emulate them,” he urged.
He observed that there is a future for members of TESCON in the party, and encouraged them to be active in the scheme of things like other TESCON members in the past who are currently occupying national and ministerial positions.
Nana Anokye I also admonished them to join the party’s communication teams to propagate government policies and programmes to Ghanaians to dispel the propaganda of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
