An aspiring parliamentary candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Nkawkaw constituency of the Eastern Region, Andrews Kwaku Ameyaw, has donated a variety of essential items to Bless the Children International Home, a renowned orphanage located in Nkwatia, Kwahu East District.
The assortment of items included sandals, shoes, sneakers, clothes, biscuits, and more, all meticulously chosen to cater to children of various ages.
Mr Kwaku Ameyaw, a former tutor at ST Peters Senior High School in the same township, addressed the children and students, emphasizing that this benevolent act was a well-considered effort to support those in need within society.
He encouraged the orphans to stay focused on their pursuits. He also urged them to uphold the values of legality, aspiring to a future where they could serve as shining examples for their peers.
He also appealed to individuals and organizations with the means to contribute to the welfare of such underprivileged children.
For his part, Reverend Jeremiah, the Proprietor of the orphanage, expressed profound gratitude for the open-handed gesture by Andy Kwaku Ameyaw and prayed blessings from God for the parliamentary aspirant.
