The president General of COA Research & Manufacturing Limited Company (COA-RMLC), Professor Samuel Ato Duncan, has addressed critical issues surrounding its brand integrity, pricing strategies and product distinctions.
Setting the record straight on the company’s products at the Exim Bank Hall in Accra, Prof. Duncan affirmed the unblemished reputation of COA Research & Manufacturing Limited Company (COA-RMLC). He reiterated COA-RMLC’s steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, authenticity, and ethical conduct.
Journey
He highlighted COA-RMLC’s journey from its inception in 2006 to the present day. He emphasised the company’s commitment to innovation in natural medicine, culminating in the development of its flagship product, COA Mixture.
He acknowledged the significant impact COA Mixture had made globally. He unveiled two recent additions to the product line: COA Plus Mixture and COA MT Mixture. COA Plus Mixture is tailored to boost the immune system, while COA MT Mixture targets malaria.
However, he indicated that amidst these achievements, concerns emerged regarding brand misuse, with unauthorized parties falsely claiming affiliation with COA-RMLC and its proprietary formulas.
To this end, Prof. Duncan reiterated the exclusivity of COA’s production process, and urged consumers to remain vigilant against misleading claims.
Pricing
Touching on pricing concerns, he explained the rationale behind COA-RMLC’s pricing strategy, emphasising their commitment to accessibility without compromising quality.
He clarified that while COA sets recommended retail prices, slight variations may occur due to operational costs and distribution logistics. Differentiating between COA products, he outlined their unique purposes, and recommended usage guidelines.
He cautioned against false advertising that promotes COA products as cures for serious illnesses, reaffirming their role in supporting overall well-being.
Prof. Duncan further shared COA-RMLC’s vision for advancing natural medicine through continued research and development. He called on stakeholders to join the company on this pioneering journey, aiming to position Ghana as a global leader in innovative healthcare solutions.
