In his opening remarks at the workshop, the Acting Director-General emphasised the importance of the training programme in enhancing the competence of technical staff to effectively fulfill their assigned mandates.
Mr Mwinbelle indicated that the workshop also serves as a platform for team leaders to exchange experiences from projects undertaken in different regions, sharing findings and overcoming challenges.
Benefits
He also urged participants to actively engage in the workshop to derive maximum benefits and contribute relevant inputs to meet set targets by the end of June and November 2024.
Mr. Mwinbelle assured staff that management would consider all suggestions and provide necessary solutions to challenges raised during the capacity-building workshop.
Throughout the event, project team leaders delivered detailed presentations covering various topics such as economic and mineral potentials, geological mapping, pegmatite investigations, and regional geochemical soil sampling.
