Jeffrey Daasebre, NPP UK Branch Youth Organiser hopeful
Jeffrey Daasebre, a member of the New Patriotic Party UK Branch and current Manchester Chapter Youth Organiser, has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Youth Organiser of the UK Branch, outlining what he describes as a “Youth Revival Agenda” aimed at re-energising and strengthening youth participation within the party.
In a statement yesterday to members of the branch, Mr Daasebre said his decision to enter the race was informed by his experience serving at the chapter level, which he noted had deepened his understanding of the party’s values and organisational structure. He added that his time in leadership had also equipped him with the skills needed to contribute effectively at a higher level within the youth wing.
He explained that his proposed agenda is anchored on inclusion, opportunity, accountability and action, with a focus on creating a more engaged and representative youth structure. According to him, the vision seeks to ensure that students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, first time members and other young people within the party feel fully represented and actively involved in party activities.
Priority
Mr Daasebre further indicated that, if elected, he would prioritise structured programmes aimed at leadership development, professional growth and mentorship. He emphasised that youth engagement should not be limited to election periods, but sustained through continuous involvement and capacity building.
He described his bid as more than a campaign, characterising it instead as a call to restore unity and energy within the youth wing and reposition it as a strong force for future electoral success, including what he referred to as Victory 2028.
He appealed to members of the UK Branch to support his candidature, expressing confidence that his leadership would contribute to progress and effectiveness within the youth structure of the party.
