The National Youth Wing of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has presented 21 high- performance motorbikes to the Greater Accra Youth Wing of the party ahead of the December 7 general election.
The donation follows the presentation of some 13 motorcycles to the Greater Accra youth wing, as part of the party’s orphan constituencies project, early this year.
Resourcing youth wing
Presenting the motorbikes, on behalf of the National Youth Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, the Deputy National Youth Organiser of the party, Perpetual Lomokie, indicated that the donation is “in line with the ultimate goal of the National Youth Wing to resource the various youth wings to deliver another resounding victory for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the 7th December 2020 elections.”
She charged the Greater Accra Regional Youth Wing to use the motorcycles judiciously to help in the grassroots mobilisation to ensure massive victory in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
The Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser, Moses Abor, who received the bikes, thanked the National Youth Wing for the support. He indicated that the support had come at the right time since the youth wing need the motorbikes to facilitate its retail campaign agenda occasioned by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
He assured the youth wing that the party would put to good use the resources provided them.
