The Progressive Alliance of Ghana (PAG) has extended warm congratulations to the Ghana Black Stars following their successful qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
A press statement released by Dr. John Kpikpi, PAG’s Presidential Candidate for the 2024 general elections, described the achievement as a “showcase of Ghana’s footballing excellence, unity, and determination globally.”
Addressing the team, technical staff, the Ghana Football Association (GFA), and the people of Ghana, PAG emphasized that the qualification “symbolizes national pride, resilience, and the boundless potential of the Ghanaian spirit.” The statement added that the Black Stars’ performance has “lifted the hearts of millions, reminding us that with hard work and teamwork, Ghana will always shine.”
PAG specifically commended the technical team, the GFA, and “all contributors to this success,” noting that their dedication continues to “inspire hope across the nation.” The statement assured the team of the organization’s support as they prepare for the World Cup, urging them to “play with humility, focus, and excellence that defines our beloved country.”
The statement added: “Congratulations, Black Stars! You’ve made Ghana proud! Onward to victory! Go, Black Stars! Go Ghana!”
