The Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), Nana Akwasi Awuah, has reiterated the company’s commitment to enhancing value addition in Ghana’s precious minerals sector.
He emphasised the company’s mission to make high-quality jewellery accessible to every Ghanaian, symbolizing an inclusive approach to value creation in the industry.
Nana Awuah made these remarks during the grand opening of PMMC’s latest outlet at the Marina Shopping Mall, located off the Spintex Road in Accra. The new shop, which is the second largest in the country, is poised to offer a wide range of finely crafted jewellery, further solidifying PMMC’s status as a leader in Ghana’s jewellery industry.
Prospects
Mr. Awuah expressed optimism about the new shop’s prospects, adding that it would replicate the success of the company’s other branches across the country. He indicated that this expansion demonstrates PMMC’s unwavering commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and its long-term goal of becoming a household name in the jewellery business.
“The opening of this shop reinforces our position as a leader in Ghana’s jewellery industry,” Mr. Awuah said. “With a strong focus on value addition and innovation, PMMC continues to set the standard for excellence in the sector. Our objective remains clear – bringing value addition to every Ghanaian’s doorstep.”
The new shop offers an extensive collection of jewellery made from gold (white, yellow, and rose), diamonds, and various precious stones. The assortment includes necklaces, trinkets, rings, pendants, earrings, and more, catering to a broad spectrum of tastes and preferences.
Enhancement
Additionally, the new outlet features an executive lounge designed to enhance customer experience. The lounge is tailored for clients, including tourists and businesspeople, who may need to spend extended periods at the shop. This innovation provides a comfortable environment where customers can conduct business and make purchases in a relaxed atmosphere.
With the inauguration of this outlet, PMMC now operates seven branches nationwide. These include its headquarters at the Diamond House in Tudu, Accra; Osu; Tema; East Legon; Adum; Jubilee Mall; and Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi.
The strategic expansion reflects PMMC’s vision to establish a stronger foothold in both local and international markets, leveraging its expertise in jewellery design and manufacturing to boost Ghana’s position in the global precious minerals industry.
