Volunteers for Victory Network (VVN), a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to environmental sustainability and education, has conducted a sensitization campaign and tree planting initiative in selected basic schools across the Greater Accra Region.
Led by the Founder and Executive Director, Ms. Vera Wiredu, the VVN team organized educational programmes aimed at enlightening students on the importance of environmental conservation.
Additionally, they engaged in sensitization activities to highlight the role of trees in mitigating the impacts of climate change.
During the campaign, the VVN team seized the opportunity to plant trees in the selected schools. This initiative aimed to beautify the school environment, regulate temperatures, and provide windbreaks during rainstorms, thus contributing to a healthier and more conducive learning environment.
