Following concerns about the slow pace of infrastructural development Kumasi and other parts of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Raphael Sarfo Patrick, NPP Regional Youth Organiser, has assured the people not to worry because the NPP government within the next two years will ensure that a good number of infrastructural projects is undertaken and completed.
He is therefore urging the youth to remain calm, and stop complaining, saying “the worst of NPP is the best of NDC.”
“Ashanti Region has experienced a good number of road projects under the government’s ‘Year of Roads’ initiative, and certainly more of such projects will continue under NPP government,” he said in an interview with the media in Kumasi.
He also stated that the NPP government had done well in all the sectors of the economy, despite the global crisis of COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war.
Assurance
“Yes, there has been some challenges and delays, but we need to have the assurance that Akufo-Addo’s government will definitely deliver on its promises to the good people of Ashanti Region and Ghanaians at large before the end of his tenure,” he clarified.
Mr. Sarfo Raphael Patrick commended Akufo-Addo’s government for the expansion of various infrastructural projects at Senior High Schools, construction of factories under the 1D1F initiative, provision of Ambulances to all constituencies, upgrading of the Kumasi Airport and a host of other developmental projects in the Region.
The Regional Youth Organizer, however, called on the government to expedite action on the construction of the interchanges in the Garden City as early as possible, as promised, due to the urgent need to consolidate the party’s strength in its stronghold.
