Ntim: Ghanaians comfortable with Akufo-Addo’s leadership

A former National First Vice-Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party has noted that Ghanaians are comfortable with the leadership style of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and will vote for him to continue his work on December 7.

Mr Stephen Ayensu Ntim, who is also the National Coordinator of the Settler Communities Project of the NPP 2020 campaign, speaking with the media, said he had travelled extensively across the length and breadth of the country, touching base with the people in several regions.

He said the general assertion from the populace is that President Nana Akufo-Addo deserves another four years, adding that he would not be surprised if even areas that traditionally vote for the NDC vote for the President this time.

Free SHS

Mr Ntim said the cardinal reasons that run in all the regions have been the introduction of the Free SHS and the excellent manner in which the President has been handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The fact is that Ghanaians are very grateful to His Excellency on how he managed to handle the pandemic in Ghana and the support he gave and continues to give in alleviating the economic burden on the people,” he said.

“Ghanaians are satisfied with the President’s performance and are happy. The mood for change, unlike in 2016, that brought the NPP to power, is not the same today. Currently, we are witnessing a mood for continuity and I expect a massive win for Nana Addo on 7th December, 2020,” he added.

He however called on NPP the electorate to eschew complacency and translate their support for the President into vote by going to the various polling stations on December 7 in their numbers to cast their votes for the NPP.

Mr Ntim added that his street campaign project, dubbed “Stephen Ntim says 4more4Nana”, has also been received well throughout the country.
